Loved the Thanksgiving directions. I’m surprised anyone agreed to go to her house for the holiday. The individualized plates were very cute. I would pass on every one of those gourmet vending machine snacks. The high sugar, fat and calorie count are enough to make one gag…. Can’t even comment on that lunch tab—too far out of my league to relate in any way, shape or form!

Really fun links (as always). Especially liked the ideas for stale bread, we go through that dilemma here too. Keep’m coming.

The $47,000 lunch was interesting. $15,000 of it was for 3 bottles of wine. I’d like to experience what a $3,000 bottle of wine tastes like. Remind me not to go to Nello’s until AFTER I win the lottery.

Love the shopping links! I can really use those, thanks. :) And nice one on the bread – I always use mine for bread crumbs and croutons. I haven’t bought canned bread crumbs in forever. The fresh taste so much better anyway. I just throw it in the food processor and freeze the crumbs, taking as needed.

You know I loathed that lunch bill too. Absurd.

I’m with Helen – that letter and lunch bill are unreal! I also really like the uses for leftover bread. All the links are great, Amy…as usual.

That Thanksgiving letter is unbelievable!! I can’t imagine being a part of that family, or growing up with a mother like that! That $47k lunch bill is pretty outrageous too.
