Dad – I’m surprised Mom didn’t know about this product!
Mom – And I’m surprised you didn’t know about the applesauce in baking!
Rachel – I always say that about my dogs…how can they stand to eat the same thing every. single. day. Although, I could eat pie every day ;-)
Dani – I have a few old Pyrex pieces, too (in different shapes and sizes.) They are extremely versatile. I love that you go through all of the links, Dani! This month had oodles of good stuff, I even had to cut my list way back!
I agree with you and most everyone else ~ the “strange” food combinations weren’t the least bit strange to me. I think the writer might just be VERY young. The cake babe is amazing! Very cool pancakes, too. I didn’t make anything like that when Jen was growing up. The applesauce works well in muffins. It not only lowers the calories, it makes them moister. The Hello Kitty mini pizzas are so cute! I own two of the “old-school” Pyrex pie plates referred to in the hot pot article. I actually use them for more than pie, like roasting vegetables and garlic, etc. The Hot Pots are cool, as is the Quick Pop Maker. A fabulous list, Amy, but they always are. Thanks for the fun! *hugs*
I have to say. I loved the crazy flavor combo article. Especially because…so many of them are staples in my life. I guess I’m crazy. Who knew.
Yeah I don’t think I could eat what that $1 a day guy was eating. I WISH I could eat the same food every day, but yeah no.
However, I had no idea you can load Safeway coupons on your club card! Brillz!! I’ll definitely try that!
As usual, felt compelled to check out all the sites and had favorites. If that is what I had to eat for $27/mo., I think I’d starve. The only worthwhile meal was the dinner with real food. Cake artist is amazing. I will try the applesauce substitution next time I bake. That cobzorb cooking oil absorbent looks interesting.
I’ve been soaking up frying oil for disposal for years. Nobody told me when to dispose of it, and now nobody knows how.
Astrid – I know, me too! Especially the bacon..I think that goes with everything ;-)
Maryann – And this is my short list! Which gives you an idea of how much time I waste…er…spend…on these links.
Cheryl – Crazy, right? I wish I had $17 thousand to spend on useless stuff. Glad you like the list! It’s fun.
$17k on banana crap, really? – That IS some banana love. The living on $27/month totally inspires me, but I’m not good at cutting coupons. And such great product finds this month, Amy. All awesome.
And so begins my Thursday morning diversion from work. Love these links!
Maybe this is a testament to how strange I am, but none of the strange food combos are strange to me. I have tried all of them (and love them all)!! I always look foward to these posts each month! Thank you!
