Does my coffee maker count? If so, then she wins (of course she is female!). As far as tools in that fantastic video of yours I would have to say that my largest issues with envy come from that julienne peeler. If it gets Lilly to eat more veggies then I am all over it! All she will eat right now it room-temperature Gerber purees. So gross.

George A. December 10, 2010 at 11:25 am

I love the apple corer. I bought one for home and one for the office and share it with everyone.

Amy @ Serve At Once December 9, 2010 at 11:38 pm

Hmm…this is tough. I’d have to say my favorite tool is my knife. When I have to go to someone else’s kitchen and cook without my knife…well, I just feel lost. That’s a pretty good indicator of a handy tool, no?

susitravl December 9, 2010 at 9:09 pm

Gadgets are the best gifts! I wish I could own them all. I love my mix & chop that crumbles ground beef while cooking/stirring with very little effort from me.

Erin W December 9, 2010 at 7:46 pm

Wow! I’ve never even heard of a mango splitter! That’s going to be my new favorite for sure.
Hmmm. My favorite kitchen tool? I can’t get through a single meal without my chef’s knife. Can’t live without it!

What a great video! You made me laugh out loud. Well done!

Jude December 9, 2010 at 10:26 am

Favorite kitchen tool? Uh, where’s the kitchen? Oh, right, the little room with the Krups(R) coffee maker in it. Coffee I can make. Food I cannot…probably because my kitchen doesn’t contain any OXO gadgets (that I know of).

Excellent video, BTW. The kid art on the fridge is awesome.

Lynda December 9, 2010 at 10:20 am

You and Paul are so talented. I agree with you about Oxo tools. I have a couple of the ones you like and plan to get more. I wonder how many Santa could fit in my stocking?
By the way, your mom brought one of your wonderful dishes to my house last night. It was a hit!

Lora December 9, 2010 at 6:27 am

LOVE the audience mashups. Hilarious. I didn’t know there was a measuring cup that you could read while pouring. That kind of rocks. My favorite kitchen gadget is what I call my meat probe. There must be a real word for it. But you stick one end into the meat and the other end is connected to a digital thermometer which tells you when your meat is done. Saves a LOT of guessing, particularly with a finicky oven.

John December 8, 2010 at 8:10 pm

(In my best kinda creepy low Oprah voice that she does on occasion) “Mango Peeler……”

Rachel December 8, 2010 at 7:07 pm

OMG so soooo funny! Man I thought people were gonna have heart attacks! Did you have medics on the scene? ;)

My favorite is the veggie peeler too. Would loooove some more OXO stuff though! :D

Eliana December 8, 2010 at 1:45 pm

Awesome awesome giveaway! I think the Oxo tool I use most is my measuring cup. It is a permanent fixture in my kitchen. And you just reminded me I need to buy the mango tool. Because nothing is worse than loosing yummy mango meat on the pit.

Also, love the video!!!

Dani H December 8, 2010 at 8:04 am

You’re going to be a video food blogging star! LOVE it! My favorite kitchen tool? That’s tough cuz I have so many. Guess it would be my favorite serrated knife. I can do almost anything with it from slicing tomatoes to cutting an acorn squash in half. Thanks for a chance at the giveaway. *Holiday Hugs*

Becky December 8, 2010 at 7:31 am

Awesome! If I win can I send a video of me crying and fainting in a dramatic fashion?
My favorite kitchen tool is my wine opener. I know, lame… but it is so cool and looks so cool. I feel very special when I pull it out.

j December 7, 2010 at 10:25 pm

You’re adorable! And I am still laughing at your crowd shots! I LOVE this. I’m going to go tweet it.

Oh… my favorite kitchen tool is Twitter. (DM. So I can say things like, “Amy. I don’t even know what a mango splitter is. Please tell me how to split my mango.” And you answer. It’s magic.)

Anita December 7, 2010 at 8:25 pm

Lol. That will teach me to watch videos at work. Loved it. My favorite kitchen tool would have to be my microplane grater. If it ever goes missing I might need to catch my breath. Sort of like after watching this video. And I must know where your husband got the Battle Star t-shirt. My husband would love one!

Kathy - Panini Happy December 7, 2010 at 6:05 pm

You are SO cute with these videos! Love all the gadgets you showed. I really love my set of paring knives – I must use all 4 every day.

Julie December 7, 2010 at 5:48 pm

After John woke me up from FAINTING I had to watch the video again. I hope that I type everything legibly through my sea of grateful tears!!!!!!!!!!!! The mango splitter my be my favorite tool in terms of genius inventions, but in our house that ice cream scoop would get the most use. Oh and that measuring cup gadget??? Really? I have to pick a favorite? (love the video… adorable:))

Peef December 7, 2010 at 5:05 pm

You guys crack me up! I really like the satisfaction of shooting out pits of cherries, so I will say the pitter is one of my favorites. It feels a little cruel, but makes me very happy. Please don’t judge.

Jennifer aka Ms. Jenny December 7, 2010 at 2:09 pm

What a super fun idea! You and Paul are just too cute for words!
So my favorite kitchen gadget would have to be the measuring cup……….I have always wanted one!

I took some cool pictures of a cooking project with my ipod but do not have your email so that I can send it to you. So send me your email and I will send you something you are going to LOVE!

Miss all of you and Happy Holidays!

Margaret December 7, 2010 at 1:15 pm

I would have to go with the angled measuring cups. They are just so much better than the old ones. I don’t have to lean over to see how much I have. (And that is NOT a pretty sight!!!)

Love your video. LOL

I like you on facebook for a while now.

Rebecca December 7, 2010 at 12:16 pm

1.) I don’t just like you on Facebook, I love you on Facebook.
2.) I want Paul’s t-shirt. And his sandwich.
3.) My favorite kitchen gadget is my mouth. Oh, you meant of the ones you showed me? It’s definitely the angled measuring cup.

What a cool giveaway, Amy! Happy Holidays to your crew. And also, I was serious about Paul’s t-shirt and sandwich. I’m hungry AND a geek.

Ally Thorndike December 7, 2010 at 11:28 am

Love the video. I do enjoy using my microplane zester. Happy holidays to your family! I miss seeing your mom! Will “Like” you on Facebook now.

Jen December 7, 2010 at 10:01 am

I already have many of these, so don’t put me in the competition, but I had to post to tell you how much I LOVE the video! You guys are so dang entertaining!

My favorite kitchen gadget…hmmm…so many to choose from…. I have to choose my OXO peeler (just the regular one). It has kept its edge for, well, years, and it makes peeling so easy and hassle free.

Joanne December 7, 2010 at 9:59 am

Do you even know how much you blew my mind with this video? First of all I got a full 3 minutes and 24 seconds of Amy in my life. Ummm how awesome is THAT. Second of all – I LOVE oxo and you always make such a great case for them. Favorite kitchen tool…hmmm. I’m gonna have to go with the ice cream scoop. For obvious reasons.

Lisa@The Cutting Edge of Ordinary December 7, 2010 at 9:53 am

Amy how darn cute was that video?? Adorable! Loved the Oprah inserts! Loved hubbys guest apperance too!

My fave kitchen tool is my garlic press. I use all the time, but I have to say, that corn peeler looks pretty handy.

You rock!

Andrea December 7, 2010 at 9:52 am

I think my favorite is the OXO pastry/bench scraper. It has a ruler on the cutting edge, so I line it up with whatever needs slicing and I get even slices. It also is great for moving chopped vegetables from the cutting board into the hot skillet. Very cool.

Dianna December 7, 2010 at 9:43 am

Even though I never win anything, I do like this giveaway so will participate with great hope of winning all those lovely tools.

My favorite is the ice cream scoop.

Thank you,

Cathy December 7, 2010 at 9:40 am

This is the best video yet. I love it!!! And I love my Oxo apple corer/slicer and a cucumber corer I have. I like cores, what can I say.

Mom December 7, 2010 at 9:36 am

Loved the video. Hard to choose just one favorite tool because I use so many of them regularly. However, I can’t live without my slanted measure cups. I do see a cherry pitter in my future and perhaps that pointed ice cream scoop.

Jennie December 7, 2010 at 9:25 am

That peeler looks fantastic! I love my olive pitter too!

Mike December 7, 2010 at 10:22 am

You need to give your video editor a raise. (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) (You can thank me later, Paul.)

Dad December 7, 2010 at 9:19 am

My favorite tool is the atom splitter, but I guess that’s too much to ask for. So I’ll just take the ice cream and scoop.

Amanda December 7, 2010 at 9:10 am

My favorite kitchen tool is my OXO garlic press. Makes using garlic mess free and is so easy to wash!

Stephanie @ Per l'Amore del Cibo December 7, 2010 at 8:58 am

Who HASN’T liked you on Facebook? Shame on them…. My favorite gadget is the Kitchen Aid (I know, it’s not OXO, so sue me) french fry/apple slicer.

I <3 you. This video had me laughing out loud at work. I don't even care if I win, I just wanted you to know how great you are. :)

foodwanderings December 7, 2010 at 8:47 am

OMG where have I been. Love all these gadget a mango splitter?! Having a cherry pitter is way overdue. Great video and giveaway and yay Canada! Wait ,wait I live in the States, see what Ethan made me do. lol Shulie

Isabelle December 7, 2010 at 8:46 am

I’m a citrus addict, so I’m madly in love with my microplane zester. Anyone who wants it will have to pry that baby out of my cold, dead hands.
That said, the julienne peeler looks like it may take second place in my heart… where oh where has that thing been all my life? I desperately want one, now that I know such a thing exists!

Ethan @ December 7, 2010 at 8:37 am

I love my Magic Bullet and I take it with me when i’m travelling for road smoothies!
yay to Canada!

Melissa December 7, 2010 at 8:26 am

We love the measuring cups the best. We’ve got the 4 cup and the 1 cup, and use them several times daily!

Tania December 7, 2010 at 8:23 am

Omg you guys are hilarious. Since fresh garlic is a staple in most of my meals, my favorite kitchen tool is my garlic peeler. But I would love all of these tools. Oxo is the best.

P.s. love the Frak Off shirt that your “producer” is wearing! I don’t know if that was planned but it’s a great touch!

Paul December 7, 2010 at 8:14 am

I want the ice cream. Not the scoop, but the ice cream. My favorite kitchen gadget? That would be a spoon. I love the spoon because I can do so much with it. Eating, and eating. And I can eat with it. Yes, it’s my favorite kitchen gadget.

Jess December 7, 2010 at 8:12 am

I had no idea there was even such a thing as a corn peeler! How neat! That would definitely be my favorite during sweet corn season if I had one.

Jenne December 7, 2010 at 8:08 am

You’ve be liked! I would have to say my favorite kitchen tool would be the the angled measuring cup. It would save me so much time! Happy Holidays!

Rachel @ Baked by Rachel December 7, 2010 at 8:04 am

My favorite gadget would have to be my potato ricer – great if you hate lumps in your mashed potatoes (which I absolutely do).

lo December 7, 2010 at 8:02 am

Amy – you totally crack me up. But, how can I resist giving myself a chance to win ALL of your favorite OXO things?? :)

Favorite kitchen gadget?
Well — I think I’m going to pick something unexpected. Just for fun. And that would be the amazing Jonathon’s spaghetti fork. Honestly — it’s a miracle tool. Not only is it great for stirring the pasta as it’s cooking, but it’s perfect for serving long strands of pasta mess-free. :)

Paula - bell'alimento December 7, 2010 at 7:59 am

Shame on me for not liking you on facebook before now…don’t worry it has been rectified ; )

Elizabeth December 7, 2010 at 7:58 am

Hmmm, I love all the gadgets, but if I had to choose one, it would definitely be the cherry/olive pitter. I have a dollar store variety and it, well, sucks! The splash guard would make it so more more tolerable to pit cherries and just in time to feed my youngest when they come into season!

Paula - bell'alimento December 7, 2010 at 7:58 am

How cute are YOU ; ) I LOVE oxo kitchen tools too! My favorite OXO tool is my veggie peeler. Peels my potatoes in a snap!
