Ya, that’s right – top 12, not top 10. I’m such a maverick!
It’s always fun to see what were the most viewed recipes throughout the year from my readers, and I have to say, y’all nailed it. I love all of these and have made them each several times. Also, it was evenly split between sweets and savory, which works out quite nicely for a round-up.
Sweets up first because they had the overall greatest traffic. Naturally.
Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies – 3 awesome cookies in 1. Loosen your belts, people. They’re deadly. In the best possible way.
French Coconut Pie – the inside is smooth with slight texture from the coconut, and the outside is buttery and crispy. Sweet, sublime, and marvelously dangerous.
Snickerdoodle Muffins – soft and crumbly and snickerdoodle-y, just like the cookie. But in muffin form. Brilliant.
Banana Nutella Crepes – is it breakfast? Brunch? Dessert? Who cares! They’re absolutely positively delicious.
Candy Corn Pretzel Bark – oh ya. I feel you on this one. Totally. Perfect combo of sweet and salty.
Carrot Cake Cookies – for lovers of carrot cake, with portability. So popular, they made Joanne’s year end favorites also…which is where I got them from.
Chicken in Thyme Marsala Cream Sauce – oh, this dish. This dish makes my toes curl with pure delight. So glad I’m not alone.
Beef Gyros – these are simple, quick, and incredibly tasty. I make them often for lunch. The smell torments my doggies.
Italian Stuffed Squash – hollowed out zucchini, providing a home for couscous, tomatoes, sausage, and mozzarella. Hm mm. I’d live there.
Sweet Chicken Bacon Wraps – little pieces of chicken candy. They are so so good. Sweet, salty, spicy, bite-sized pieces of YUM.
Prosciutto-Wrapped Turkey, Avocado & Swiss Panini – I ate this sandwich every single day for a week…waiting for lunch seemed like an eternity.
Roasted Parmesan Creamed Onions – onions in a Parmesan/cream/wine bath, every bite is luscious! Most of it never reaches the table because of all the tasting.
Damn. I’m hungry now! And have this urge to make all of these again immediately. If you missed any of them, I highly recommend you hop to it. My readers are pretty smart, and know good food.
From the bottom of my heart, thanks for another fabulous year of blogging, tweeting, and facebooking. I’m nothing without all of you!
Have a fun, safe, and delicious New Year – Amy

Lots of yummy stuff here, but I have to say – that Coconut pie sounds fabulous!
Wow two of mine made it too! I hit the bigtime baby!!! LOL
Can’t what to see all the deliciousness you’ll bring us in 2012!
Ah, the onions. *Sigh*
I love that the chicken mushroom dish made the top 12. It’s still one of my and Steve’s weeknight favorites, hands down, although I look forward to the spring, when I make it with leeks and cream and dijon. Oof.
Happy New Year! :)
Is it any wonder that we love the onions and the chicken marsala? … they both have that fabulous cream/wine bath going on. Oof, is right! Happy new year my dear friend! :D

How did I miss those onions???
Great roundup and now I am starving too! LOVE those onions!
You’re so right. We both have awesome readers.
I tried to lick those onions off my screen. Sigh. Didn’t work.
LOVE these! You have added so much to my newest family traditions. (Tradition = dish that I’ve made more than once.) Seriously, I look forward to every picture and recipe that taunts my inbox. Thank you for sharing your passion. Many wishes to your family for a wonderful new year!

Whoa! I am swooning over this delectable collection. These look maddeningly delicious! I remember most- but not all. How did I miss the yummy Italian Stuffed Squash? Anyway, thanks for sharing your wit, kitchen wisdom and all-around nutty goodness with us this year. I’m not sure how you can top this list or your videos, but I know you will, so count me in.
For you, Paul, the young-ins and the pups, I’m screaming from the east coast >> “HAAAAPPY NEW YEARRRR!!!!”

Definitely bookmarking this post. Too many good things! Glad I found ya.
Thanks Laura! Glad you found me too :D
If it’s wrapped in bacon, it goes to #1. If it’s smothered in chocolate, it’s #2, #1 if there’s nothing with bacon available. I just lost my train of thought. Gotta ask Mom to make onions and cheese.
What if it’s bacon smothered in chocolate?
If I wouldn’t gain a bunch of extra pounds I’d ask for one of each… especially the bacon wrapped chicken oh my!
I think I’d be in shock if any of my healthier posts made the year end list!
And I printed out most of these!! Thank you Amy for a wonderful year of good recipes and one hell of a sense of humor!!!! Peace & Prosperity to you and yours for 2012!!! (and your fans, too!!)
And thank you, Sandi, for joining me on my food adventures and playing along! Here’s to more fun and eating in 2012 :D
