Do you have a favorite candy bar? Mine are Twix, Snickers, and Almond Joys.
At Halloween, we remove all the Snickers and Reese’s PB Cups because of the kids’ peanut allergy, without any fuss. But I pretty much have to fight Haley for the Almond Joys.
Since Trevor got his Strawberries and Cream Smoothie, I thought it only fair that I create something to make Haley as equally excited.
And she was.
Almond Joy Smoothie
Prep time: 5 minutes
• 1 cup light coconut milk
• 1 1/2 cups chocolate frozen yogurt
• 1 ripe banana, frozen and sliced
• 3 tablespoons shredded coconut
• 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
• 1/2 cup ice cubes
Blend coconut milk and frozen yogurt in a blender. Add in the banana slices, coconut, almond extract, and ice. Blend until smooth.
