Do you feel that – the tears rolling down your cheeks? The hollowness in your stomach? The sadness in your heart? Just me, huh?
This is it, friends. The final addition to my Summer Smoothie Series. Done. Over. No more! Waaaaa. I think I’m sort of mourning the end of the series as much as I am the end of summer. But it’s been a fun ride, no?
When I was developing smoothies for this series, I didn’t exactly have a plan of any kind in terms of heathy verses dessert, or a preference of regular yogurt, frozen yogurt, or ice cream. I just knew what foods I like and what flavors generally work well together.
As I made this last one – this classic milkshake – I realized what a great range these 12 weeks have had. I’m really proud of it.
I hope you’ve made some of them and enjoyed following along as much as I’ve enjoyed creating them.
As mentioned in week #1, Vitamix outfitted me with one of their outstanding blenders to use throughout the series. Check out this video I made, showcasing the Vitamix blender and find out why I love it so much.
And as promised, there will be a giveaway next week, courtesy of Vitamix, SO STAY TUNED FOR THAT!
