A little fun today, friends!

If you’re not already familiar with the song “What Does the Fox Say?” that has over 122 million views, you need to watch it…because Paul made a parody video. And I love him for it.

I sat in an empty field for this! Go watch!

"What Does The Fox Say?" Parody ("How Does A Burn Feel?") | Very Culinary

Maybe if we get 122 million views, Jimmy Fallon will have him on as a guest. It could happen. Riiiiight. Share it!

This is awesome!! Pretty sure whatever field Paul is in, he needs to reconsider. He is a natural on camera!

Thank you so much, Erin!! I think so, but I’m the wife, so my opinion doesn’t count. Sort of when you tell your kid they’re cute. If you have any movie producer connections… Lol.

I’m telling you, Paul should reconsider his career path! This was perfect! You guys are too cute!

Omg, just laughed to death. Then Matthew asked if Paul really hurt himself. Sharing now!

Reply

Amy @Very Culinary October 15, 2013 at 1:44 pm

Haha. I KNEW Matthew (and Morgan) would ask something like that! Haley and Trevor would too if they didn’t see him filming…although even then, I had to explain that “Daddy is just acting – you don’t ever do what he does!!”

Ray October 15, 2013 at 9:26 am

Well done, Paul! You hit all the basic elements.

The part where Haley is dancing in the background with the oven mitts cracks me up, no matter how many times I watch it!

You have no idea how badly I needed a laugh. Send this to Ellen! She loves that song! Do it!

The parody was great … as usual. THAT Ylvis got 160 million hits shows why civilization as we know it will disappear in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6…

So, there’ll be four hams for Thanksgiving this year?

Reply

Amy @Very Culinary October 15, 2013 at 1:49 pm

Hahaha. I know. What’s funny is, the first time Paul showed me the video, I was like, “What? Why is this so popular?” Then the second time I watched it, I loved it. 160 million can’t be wrong…

I LOVE IT!! Ha ha ha! This was awesome. Not that I would know what a burn or cut feels like. :/

Reply

Amy @Very Culinary October 15, 2013 at 1:39 pm

What’s ironic is that I actually did burn myself after shooting this…pot of boiling water slipped out of my hand=second degree burns on two of my fingers! Life imitating art!

Reply

Julie October 15, 2013 at 6:49 pm

Oh, poop. You weren’t supposed to do that. :( I have so many scars on my hands that they could be used for identification purposes.

So, I woke up this morning with a beagle nose in my face and this goofy song running through my head! Oh, dear. I seriously had to watch my video of the 4-year-old and her dad singing “Tonight You Belong to Me” to get the song out of my head. Whew. If you haven’t seen that video, you need to watch it. That little one reminds me SO much of Stephie at that age. I’m getting old and sentimental. Have a fabulous day!

After Paul did the parody to Justin Timberlake’s Suit & Tie (seen here, if you want to check it out http://veryculinary.com/2013/03/11/food-parody-of-suit-tie-by-justin-timberlake/), I had so many friends that said they are unable to listen to the original without singing Paul’s lyrics. Earworm! We’ve messed them up for life. Lol.

Julie October 17, 2013 at 5:33 pm

Oh. my. gosh. That was perfect. Dang, the more I “know” you, the more I wish we did live closer (well, there is that age difference thing, but whatever). I wish my husband would do cool things like this, but he would never do it. And, here’s the super sad thing: the man can sing. I mean, like REALLY SING BEAUTIFUL. I actually have a youtube video (that hasn’t gone viral. Go figure) of him singing to me at our wedding. (Sniff, sniff). But something cool like this? Isn’t going to happen. Sad face. Glad Paul does it though, so that we can have something to enjoy. :)
