Honey-Sesame Dressing

Honey-Sesame Dressing

Chocolate ganache, melted caramel, pure maple syrup, a balsamic reduction… who needs the ice cream? Just pass me a spoon. Right?

This dressing is no different – it’s sweet and tangy and delicious all on its own.

BUT, who drinks salad dressing? Ok, don’t answer that…

Honey-Sesame Dressing

I use it most often with my Applebee’s Copycat Asian Chicken Salad, but have been known to just drizzle it on fresh fruit. The kids request it frequently, so I always have a jar of it in the fridge.

I have another wonderful summer salad coming soon that incorporates it too, so stay tuned for that!

Honey-Sesame Dressing
Makes approximately 1 cup
Prep time: 5 minutes

• 1/3 cup honey
• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
• 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
• 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

In a small bowl, whisk all the ingredients together until combined and smooth. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Note: This will keep well in the refrigerator for up to a week.

I made this yummy dressing tonight to put on my giant kale, watercress, marcona almond, apple, orange cranberry salad. Oh yeah, I licked the bowl. It’s a keeper, but you already knew that. ;-)

Holy crap! I made this for dinner tonight and man it was GOOD! I had to stop myself from licking the plate clean lol…I only made a half batch to give it a try, I only had a small amount of honey in the house. Next week I’m buying a big container and making it again….and again……and again lol Thanks for such a great recipe!

Oh my goodness, I always loved that dressing from that Applebee’s salad. I can totally taste this in my head!! I don’t know why, but I don’t make a lot of Asian dressings and salads…you’ve got me craving one now!

This looks like a winner and will definitely make this soon.

Well, to be fair, I might drink THIS PARTICULAR salad dressing. I’m such a sucker for all sesame infused dressings. Just can’t help it.

Can’t wait to try this one!

Sounds DELICIOUS! I much prefer homemade salad dressing! And this does sound like it would be equally delicious on fruit.

OMG, I cannot WAIT to make this!! I am always looking for the perfect Asian-y dressing for salads and marinades and such and none of them ever seem quite right. But this? This looks like pure gold.
